# I’m back

Haven’t posted in awhile. Funny how you think you’re doing pretty darn good and then a “simple” slip turns out to put you right back where you started. I found this my comfort healing zone for a long time and am looking for that here again. I left bc what I said and what I actually meant was misinterpreted, not ugly whatsoever, but was chastised, made me feel like an outcast. I make mistakes. We all do. Darn sure wouldn’t be here otherwise. Hope I can find my comfort healing space here again

Welcome back do not worry about what others think. It is about what you think and what you were thinking wrong leading up to using. Move on and hit meeting, gym and friends and keep being honest) odaat

Melinda, just glad you came back. I found the sober community has always welcomed me with open arms regardless. It’s always been my addict/ego that turned my back on anything good. I learned to not allow my addict ego to do that anymore.
