# It is a difficult day. It’s the 3rd anniversary of

It is a difficult day. It’s the 3rd anniversary of my Mom’s passing. I’ve never felt the feels sober and they snuck up on me today. They say “grief comes in waves” this was a tsunami! BUT, I let it come, cried it out and let it go without even thinking about a drink. It kind of surprised me to be honest. So my gratitude list today

1. My sobriety that is STRONG!
2. Feeling the feels without being consumed
3. Memories of my mom. She would be so proud of me.

This sounds tough.

While you can head to bed this evening being proud of yourself and knowing that your mother would be proud, also.
