Sobriety is so isolating and lonely... I'm really struggling and now i have a broken ankle and an even more isolated... ---

I know how you feel stay busy find a good movie pick a project in the basement or spare bedroom or something. It’s just an urge and all urges have a shelf life and eventually it’ll go away but you’re not alone. Just remember that we’re all out here, struggling with the same thing. ---

I think that we all experience this , in different degrees. I understand completely and I am here if you ever need to vent or share something. I'm trying to get a good sober social network going after relapsing. I'm 82 days sober again..... isolation is the worst. ---

M isolation and loneliness are typical of early sobriety. Reaching out to recovering addicts is imperative. Going to meetings, making new friends in the recovery community, SERVICE and staying focused on my program relieved my loneliness. I built a new life! The old life of using is empty. Don’t sit there alone, you’ll never be happy. Get and stay in your new life! It’s waiting for you to take action. I’m here if you want to talk. ---

Sweetheart, I’m so sorry. Isolation sucks. But I’ve tried reframing it…like I’m isolated…but is this my version of God’s way of telling me “hey I want you to meet who you are…”? ---

@melissa420280 1. 🎉🎉 CONGRATULATIONS 🎉🎉 on your 231 days of sobriety. Keep up the good work. 2. Are you working on any type of recovery program? 3. IF you're working on any type of recovery program get involved with it and go to meetings, start reading the recommended books as well as start working the suggested steps. 4. Start working with another alcoholic who is struggling just like you. 5. if you're not working on any type of recovery program and doing this all on your own then yes you'll continue to struggle and be lonely. Just remember as long as you're doing it by yourself you'll always be lonely. As long as you're doing it with other people then you won't be lonely. The choice is yours. ---

Yes it's tough I'm 5 month's sober the loneliness is kicking in I'm finding it hard to meet new people who are sober ..... I know it will work out though it will for you also stay strong and be happy with you 🥰 ---

It took isolation to get my attention, God was reaching out to me and I found him. I'm now 174 days clean and sober and haven't struggle with my addictions. I just surrendered and let God power and love guide me. Hope this helps 🙏 ---
