I think the fact that you're reaching out is courageous and huge step in the right direction

Check with your local AA/NA
There's usually lots of social stuff to do, especially around this time of year

Are you willing to go to any
lengths to stay clean & sober? WE must have a plan of Action.
•Have you found an in- person home group?
•Do you have a good sponsor?
•Have you began reading the first 164 pages of the Big Book? That’s the solution.

If you have crutches,
I suggest you find a family member to take you to an AA meeting everyday this week.
Ask for help. There are many people at meetings that would be willing to give you a ride each day.
Get a Big Book if you don’t have one.
Difficulty reading? There’s an app called Everything AA that has the daily meditation, and will read the BB to you. Plus much more.
Ask at meetings for phone numbers and a sponsor.
Once you find a sponsor, thoroughly work ALL 12 steps.
WE all have had to start and take direction if we want to recover from a seemingly hopeless state of mind and body.
Long term sobriety is available to each of us IF we do the work.
Best wishes 🙏☮

If you ever want to chat please message me anytime. After 4.5 years sober then 2 years of relapse and now almost 3 years sober, I started feeling so lonely in my recovery close to a year ago. I lived with my husband and teenage son, worked with all men, tensions were getting high between my son and my husband, my boss and a co-worker, and for the first time in my life i realized how badly I needed to interact with other women in recovery...other wives, mother's, daughters, sisters. In a moment of desperation I found an amazing group of ladies locally "Women in Recovery". Although I initially had no interest in following the Big Book of AA structured program that didnt matter to me anymore. I didnt feel lonely in my recovery anymore.

I'm so sorry to hear about your ankle. There are 24 seven virtual meetings that I always found helpful. You could find them at in the [rooms.com](http://rooms.com). Also the Loosid app has a ton of resources. I would check out as well.
