TO HAVE POWER, INTERNET AND WARM WATER! REMINDS me of Michael.. no water, no power, no warm food....just a shorter time period. 2 days not 18. I am so very grateful for the linemen that have traveled afar and near to help us here in the 850! I am grateful to be closing down a shift at the BPPR as many dogs and cats were here and grateful for the owners and techs who have been caring for these furbabies. I am grateful this evening to have had a complete electronics reset. No phone. No tv. No internet until today. Grateful for baby wipes and the opportunity to half bathe with them for the past two days. I am certainly looking foward to that shower in a few minutes. Above all, I am grateful I have had a sober hurricane 🌀! My first in many many years. I am grateful today to be sober and strong and back to writing my daily gratitudes. This is a daily morning ritual that I have missed. I am grateful for getting a chiropractor appt for in the morning and I am grateful to be working at the BPPR since our offices are still without power. Grateful. Sober. Strong. Today! ---
