Thank God that I have the capacity for gratitude.
•When Barkley’s time comes, I have the resources to allow him to pass at home.
•The way Barkley’s tail wags whenever I approach him.
•God has blessed Barkley with ten happy and healthy years of life.
•Norman is learning how to be a big dog from Barkley.
•My boss has been so supportive and understanding through all of this.
•Experience shows that I’m capable of hard things.
•I’m so grateful I get to be sober for this.
•I know I will be okay.
•I woke up more concerned about Barkley’s comfort than my feelings.
•Self-examination, meditation, and prayer allow me to navigate this world successfully.
Thank you for my life.

I have a nine year old pittie and I understand where you are coming from. My goals for her are your accomplishments. But as of now she's still doing very well. You have beautiful dogs.

Tearing up.
Beautiful words.
Bittersweet realities.
Barkley knows that he is loved.
Oh, yeah.
I’m gonna cry.

Thank you Cathy. I’m glad I was able to share it.
I am sending y’all healing energy during this time when and where realities are changing for y’all, Barkley, Norman and Michael O.
