I'm grateful that I've finally gotten enough confidence in myself through continuing sobriety to now be able to see through all the lies that seemingly well-meaning people have been telling me all this time while secretly lying on me behind my too-trusting back, especially some I knew from meetings when I was trying my best to get sober. It's been said that with age comes wisdom, but I know more than a few people elder to me that really just don't get it at all.

I don’t understand the correlation between the picture and your comment. But I’m glad you’re sober!!

What do you mean you work graveyard shift?
Honestly, that type of confidence takes time to build. I’m glad sobriety is helping you trust yourself more and pay attention to what feels right for your peace.
The picture is of Brandi D'ann, recoverywarrior29, she's in recovery and posts on Instagram and @threa
ds, that's just her latest post, I've been following her for a while, that's all, just paying it forward for her, I guess, but yeah, she's got the sense of humor
