Hey everyone, My name is Christine. I've been sober since

Hey everyone, My name is Christine. I've been sober since 2018. I haven't been feeling myself lately and I can't seem to figure out the core issue. I just thought maybe if I wrote out my thoughts/feelings there's a chance it would help. I feel alone. Scared at times and struggling to find the confidence I once had. Thanks for reading!

Christine, I felt similar many times. I identify that funk as my addiction. My addict ego wants me dead but will settle for my misery. It wants me back!
For me, anytime I feel anything negative it’s my addict ego. And my medicine is service to help others and step work.
I’m 17 years sober and grateful. I’m here if you want to chat or have any questions

Hi Danny, thanks for accepting my request and for your response. I've been through a lot of big life changes the last 3 years and I don't think I've processed any of it which may be showing itself now. There is so much resentment, anger and hurt that Ive continued to shove deep down and instead I've used my job as an excuse for not dealing with anything else. When I look ahead (which is already the wrong thing to do) I get overwhelmed and don't know where to begin.

Christine, again I’ve been there and done that too. My addiction went straight into my work. Then training, then food, etc etc.
I was not emotionally sober/sound. After doing the 12 steps thoroughly several times I was free. See, the 12 steps is a process of processing. I processed all my resentments, anger, shame, guilt, fears, and so on in a super healthy way and was given the tools and know how to use these tools at will. The true power I needed to have emotional sobriety was mine!!!
I’m totally here if you want to talk about it or have any questions.
You can also hit me up in private chat.
I’m always glad to be of service and I sponsor.
